Register for School

Registration Information
 
Students that have been out of Glynn County Schools for one year or more will register first at Central Registration located at the Glynn County Schools BOE Annex - 5505 Altama Ave.  Once that step has been completed, you will need to enroll at the Glynn Academy Campus. Students that have been out of Glynn County Schools for less than one year will register at their zoned school.  Proof of residence and picture ID are required when re-enrolling, in addition to the Glynn County Student Registration Form
The following documents are required for Registration / Enrollment:
 
1) Proof of Residence - Any of the following items will be accepted:
  • Current utility bill that shows parent / guardian name and the service address. Cell phone bills, medical bills,  insurance, or bank statements are not acceptable documentation of residency. 
  • Current Rental / Lease / Purchase agreement
 
2) A certified copy of the child's birth certificate
 
3) The child's Social Security card (disclosure of the child's Social Security Number is voluntary)
 
4) A certificate of immunization completed by the Glynn County Health Department or healthcare provider
 
5) A certificate of vision / hearing / dental / nutrition screening completed by Glynn County Health Department or healthcare provider
 
6) Parent / Legal Guardian Identification
 
7) Custody Documents (if applicable)

Registration hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to to 4:30 p.m.

After you have registered your child or children, you will be given a registration verification document that you must then take to the school(s) for which your residence is zoned. At the school, you will then enroll your child and receive a homeroom assignment or class schedule

 

If you have moved and need to update school records with your new address, please complete the Glynn County School System Change of Address form. This form, a picture ID,  and address verification must be provided before the address can be changed. Acceptable address verification documents:
