Dear Parents & Guardians:

Students are, and always will be my priority; therefore, I reserve the hours between 8:30AM and 3:30PM for student appointments.  Parent/guardian appointments are available before school on Wednesdays, after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays, or by appointment.  However, if scheduling a meeting before or after school presents an undue hardship, please reach out by telephone to request an alternate appointment time (912-267-4210 x3205).

Tips for Parents & Guardians:

    • Always Contact the Teacher the First.  For assistance with grades, assignments, daily attendance records, classroom expectations, course content, and classroom behavior, contact your child's teacher directly.
    • The Student Should Attend the Meeting.  High school students are expected to participate in meetings with their parents or guardians, per generally accepted standards of professional practice.
    • Students, Parents, and Guardians Must Follow the Attendance Protocol.  School counselors do not have the authority to excuse student absences.  Therefore, all communications related to student absences must be sent directly to the Attendance Office, per the GA Attendance Protocol ([email protected]).
    • Do Some Homework.  Be sure to check the resources and information available on the GA Counseling Website (https://ga.glynn.k12.ga.us/apps/pages/index.jsp?uREC_ID=1737951&type=d&pREC_ID=1915256).

Note: I reserve the right to cancel a parent or guardian appointment, if I must do so to meet the needs of a student.  Similarly, I make every effort to return messages within 24 hours of receiving them (M-F, 8:00 - 4:00); however, I will not interrupt my work with students to respond to calls or emails.  If you need to speak with me urgently, please contact Mrs. Clack, Administrative Assistant for School Counseling.  Thank you in advance for your understanding!

If a student's health or wellbeing is in jeopardy, contact the Counseling Office immediately!
